Main objective

The aim is to assess the possible relation between using individual insulins (duration of exposure, administered dosage) and increased breast cancer risk.

Inclusion criteria

For case subjects:
– Breast cancer diagnosed between 01 January 2008 and 30 June 2009
– Diabetes confirmed by the patient and anaesthesia records.

For controls:
– No breast cancer
– Diabetes confirmed by the patient and anaesthesia records

Main objective

Evaluate, over a cohort of patients with a high cardiovascular risk according to the ANAES definition and monitored by a general practitioner, the incidence of the major cardiovascular event (MI, CVA and cardiovascular death) according to the various sub-classes of risks defined by ANAES in the "high risk" level

Inclusion criteria

M/F >=18 years, examined in ambulatory consultation by general practitioners and cardiologists, having a treated essential HBP, or such that SBP/DBP > 140/90 mmHg in the absence of treatment, monitored in a normal manner by the investigating doctor

Subjects from both genders born between 1922 and 1932 (59 to 71 years old at enrolment), included in electoral registers in Nantes, can speak French and living in Nantes.
